Salary: £54,080 per annum with the potential to earn up to £64,280 through Ofsted and occupancy bonuses
Hours: Full-time, permanent (includes on-call responsibilities)

Our client is seeking an experienced and confident Registered Manager to lead the opening and registration of a brand-new 4-bed children’s home in the Doncaster (DN9) area.
This is a standalone service, so strong leadership, resilience, and the ability to establish a high-performing home with structure, consistency, and clear standards will be essential.
This opportunity would suit either an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, provided they can clearly demonstrate senior leadership experience within children’s residential care.
What’s on OfferBase Salary: £54,080 per annum
Potential Earnings: Up to £64,280 per annum
Ofsted Bonus: £3,000 for an Outstanding Ofsted report
Occupancy Bonus: £600 per month
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays
On-Call Payments: £25 weekday / £35 weekend

Current Ofsted Rating: N/A – new service requiring registration
- Experience working within Ofsted-registered children’s residential homes in a senior leadership capacity
- A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a senior management role within children’s residential care
- A proven track record of contributing towards Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- If applying as a Deputy Manager, clear evidence of leadership contribution under a Registered Manager achieving Good or Outstanding
- A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed or already started)
- Strong leadership and management capability suited to a standalone home environment
- The ability to travel to the Pontefract head office for interviews and managers’ meetings
- Be within a commutable distance of the Doncaster (DN9) area
- Willingness to declare any previous disciplinaries or failed fit person applications
- Salary expectations aligned with the advertised package based on experience and knowledge
- Previous experience opening and registering a brand-new children’s home
- Experience establishing teams, systems, and operational structure from day one
