Position: CNC Machinist (Permanent)

Production Machinist
£15-£17 per hour based on experience. 25 days holiday, Early Friday finish, Full Time, 37.25 hours per week.

Ash Consulting are looking for individuals to join our well established client who produce high quality precision engineering measurement solutions to a wide range of clients across the world. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects within a busy tool room with special focus on milling and/or grinding.

Reporting to the Works Manager this role will involve working on various Lapping/Honing and Grinding Machines to assist various departments when needed.

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities and Requirements

• Working on a variety of manufacturing operations

• Using Lapping, Honing and Grinding Machines.

• Precision Gauge Assembly.

• Using a Laser Engraving Machine.

• Using Comparators with gauge blocks for product inspection.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to use/interpret engineering drawings and measuring equipment.

• Basic Engineering knowledge.

• Ideally Apprentice Trained would be preferable.

• Excellent work ethic and time keeping.

Working Hours

Mon – Thursday: 8.00am – 4.30pm.

Friday: 8.00am – 1.15pm
