Salary: £46,400 + Pension + Overtime + BUPA

My client is one of the UK’s leading privately owned manufacturers within their sector, established over 80 years. They supply products to the FMCG market and have become a centre of excellence within the industry. With further expansion in the UK, they are recruiting an additional Maintenance Engineer.

• Apprentice Trained in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with in a Manufacturing Environment
• Understanding of PPM systems

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and be able to work independently with experience of PPM and TPM. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day‑to‑day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. On a typical shift they will work with fast‑moving machinery such as plastic injection moulding machines, conveyors, extruders, packaging machinery, motors, drives.

The company offers extensive development opportunities, and the candidate will be positioned to broaden their skills with the possibility of a supervisory role in the future.

Day‑to‑day engineering and maintenance of plant machinery, ensuring high standards and efficiency, working independently, applying PPM and TPM procedures, and developing skills for progression.

Engineering background with apprenticeship training in electrical or mechanical engineering, prior manufacturing experience, and familiarity with PPM systems.
