About the roleAs a Trainee Fabric Cutter, you will learn how to operate cutting equipment and support the production process by preparing fabric components in line with product specifications. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will develop the skills and knowledge required to produce accurate, high-quality work while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

Doncaster, DN6 78BD. - Working hours:
Rotating early & late shifts – Week One:
Monday to Friday 05:30 am–1:50 pm;
Week Two:
Monday to Wednesday 2:00 pm–12:20 am, Thursday 2:00 pm–12:05 am (four‑day week and long weekend). - Growth and Training:

- Learn to operate cutting machines and hand‑cutting equipment to cut fabric components in line with product specifications.
- Assist in producing accurate, high‑quality cut materials while developing an understanding of quality standards.
- Support the timely movement of cut fabric to the sorting area to ensure smooth production flow.
- Build knowledge of product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Handle customer orders with care, ensuring materials are protected and processed correctly.
- Report any fabric quality issues or production concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures and working practices.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy and organised factory environment, ensuring walkways and work areas remain free from obstructions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in training and development activities.
- Keen to learn and develop new practical skills.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction from experienced team members.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Organised and reliable approach to work.
- Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in textiles, fabrics or manufacturing processes is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
