About the role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Fabricator to join a busy and growing manufacturing team based in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator looking for a full time, permanent position with consistent daytime hours and a competitive hourly rate.

As a Fabricator
, you will manufacture and assemble a variety of metal components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and specifications. The successful Fabricator will play an important role in ensuring products are completed accurately, safely and on time. This Fabricator position would suit someone who takes pride in producing quality work, enjoys working in a fast paced workshop environment and is committed to maintaining high standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components from engineering drawings
  • Measure, mark out, cut and prepare materials accurately
  • Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Carry out quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Skills and experience required Essential
  • Previous experience working as a Fabricator
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
  • Good problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
