MIG Welder

Permanent, 4 day working week, OT available on Fridays at time and a half, growing & innovative company, modern clean working facility, free onsite parking

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a busy fabrication & welding department. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in the build and conversion of vehicle-related equipment. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys a varied workload.

We welcome applications from candidates with MIG Welding experience, who are used to working in a fast paced, heavy engineering environment.

• MIG welding (essential)
• Fabrication and welding of chassis conversions (e.g. tipper beds)
• Fabrication of cage‑style vehicle bodies
• Manufacturing and welding of trailers, storage units, and related equipment
• Mild steel welding for our manufacturing plant
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Supporting general workshop operations and ad hoc tasks as required

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication
• Strong MIG welding skills (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience using workshop machinery (e.g. chop saws, guillotines) with a solid understanding of health & safety
• Ability to set up and adjust welding equipment independently
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and integrity

Competitive pay based on experience up to £16.00 per hour.
