Questech Recruitment are looking for an experienced Machine Operator (with 360 and / or Loading Shovel experience) to join our client's busy metal recycling operation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in fast-paced industrial environments.
We are currently looking for x1 day operator, x1 night operator and x1 temporary days operator to cover holiday
Location:
DN4
Shifts:
6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am 4 on 4 off
Salary: £14.00ph - £16.00ph
Key Responsibilities
* Operate loading shovel and 360 grab machinery safely and efficiently
* Load, sort, move, and process scrap metal materials
* Feed processing equipment and maintain smooth yard operations
* Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
Requirements
* Proven experience operating a loading shovel and/or 360 grab (licenses essential)
* Experience with in metal recycling, waste management, quarrying, or similar industries is advantageous
* Good understanding of health & safety practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude
