Production Operatives

Our client based in Scunthorpe is a manufacturer of corrugated board, supplying customers throughout the UK. They currently have several exciting opportunities for several Production Operatives to join their team as soon as possible! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to work within a production environment, full training will be provided with excellent growth and development opportunities for a long term career with a growing company!

The roles will be temporary initially but do have the potential to turn permanent depending on performance. The shifts are rotating, working 6am-2pm (Mon to Sat), 10pm-6am (Mon-Fri) and 2pm-10pm (Mon to Fri). The pay rate is £12.71, however this will increase if you are offered a permanent contract to £13.49 per hour. Enhanced rates for overtime are also applicable after 40 hours worked.

The Production Operatives will assist in running a state-of-the-art machine within a production environment. Duties of the role will include:

- Operating and monitoring production machinery Feeding materials into the production line Carrying out quality checks on finished products Packing, stacking and palletising products ready for dispatch Assisting with machine set-ups and changeovers Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area Following health & safety procedures and production targets Please note, candidates will need their own transport to reach the location of the site.
