Doncaster is a new city, alive with potential and possibilities; and Doncaster City Centre is a new Mission Area at the beginning of an exciting journey. We have recently been awarded substantial strategic funding from the central Church for Love Doncaster, a project to revitalise these churches in mission and service to our city.
The appointment of a new Associate Vicar is a crucial next step. We are praying for someone who:
- has a big heart for people and for social justice
- is able to work across different church traditions
- is passionate about intergenerational, intercultural mission and ministry
The Associate Vicar will play a full part in the life of Doncaster Minster, with its choral tradition and civic opportunities, but will also be the main priest for St James’ church, a vibrant, warm, intercultural community in the evangelical tradition that has seen significant growth in recent years and which has the potential to flourish further as a beacon of hope in the heart of Doncaster.
If this sounds like it might be you, we would love to hear from you.
