Locum Nurse Practitioner Prescriber

We are recruiting a Nurse Practitioner Prescriber to work within a busy and friendly GP surgery in Doncaster. The position is offered on a locum basis. Job . Contact: s The successful candidate will work both independently and with other health professionals to assess, diagnose and treat patients, provide professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues, and train other members of the team.

You will undertake and interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests such as cytology, venepuncture, blood pressure, and ECGs. You will have experience of seeing and treating minor illness. The ideal candidate will be registered with the NMC, be an independent nurse prescriber and hold an MSc/Postgraduate diploma.

• Provide professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues, as well as training to other members of the team.
• Assess, diagnose and treat patients in a busy GP surgery setting.
• Undertake and interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests including cytology, venepuncture, blood pressure and ECGs.
• Work both independently and with other health professionals.
• See patients with minor illness.
