We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at New College Doncaster, DN9 3GH
. This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to become part of a busy education catering team, helping to provide excellent food and customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

What you'll be doing

• Serving food and beverages to students, staff, and visitors
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout service periods
• Replenishing food counters and service areas
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions where required
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Assisting with stock replenishment and basic kitchen duties
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the catering team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the service

About you

• Previous catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
• Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, flexible, and positive approach to work
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencing employment
