The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation that puts improving the lives of residents at the centre of everything we do. You have an opportunity to be part of this as a Council Tax Assistant.
We are recruiting two permanent Council Tax Assistants to maintain account records, recover Council Tax, handle correspondence and deal with the public both by telephone and in person at the One‑Stop Shop.
The successful candidate will receive full training to manage all aspects of billing and collection, helping to maximise income for the Council.
We are seeking a hard‑working, friendly, and motivated individual with strong communication and computer skills, who can work under pressure, meet workload targets and provide essential service to our customers.
Previous experience in a busy finance or customer‑facing environment is desirable, as the role involves daily telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries.
