Description
Plan and implement merchandising strategies to maximise product performance and sales.
Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed stock decisions.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely product availability.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate restocking as required.
Ensure all products are displayed effectively in line with company standards.
Provide regular reports on merchandising performance and insights for improvement.
Support the retail department in achieving its financial and operational goals.
Maintain awareness of competitors and market developments within the retail industry.
Profile
A successful Merchandiser should have:
A background in merchandising or a related field within the retail industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
Excellent organisational skills to manage stock levels and product displays.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for inventory and sales analysis.
An understanding of current retail trends and customer preferences.
The ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal departments.
Job Offer
A competitive salary ranging from £32,000 - £40,000 per annum.
