Job Title:Relief Security Officer

Location:CEVALogistics, Doncaster

Working Hours:Zero Hours –Holiday & Sickness Cover

Reporting to:Operations Manager/ Assistant Contract Manager/ Regional Supervisors

Overview

An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a reliable and flexible Security Officer to join our team at CEVA Logistics, Doncaster. This role is idealfor someone looking to cover holiday and sickness shifts, includingshort-notice cover, and who is happy working predominantly outdoors.

The site is a busy logisticsenvironment, and you will play a key role in maintaining safety, security, andsmooth daily operations. Duties include vehicle booking-in and out, monitoring

CCTV, and dealing professionally with visitors, drivers, and contractors.

This position would suit someone with minimal other commitments who is happy to be called upon at short notice and can work flexibly when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking vehicles in and outof site
• Monitoring and operating
  
  CCTV systems
• Controlling access and managing site visitors and drivers
• Carrying out regularpatrols of the site (majority outdoors)
• Maintaining accurate records and incident reports
• Responding to incidentsappropriately and escalating when required
• Ensuring site rules and procedures are followed at all times
• Providing a professional and approachable front-of-house presence
• Supporting site operationsduring busy periods, holidays, and sickness cover
• Maintaining high standards of conduct, safety, and security

• Full 5-year checkableemployment history
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Flexible and reliable withthe ability to work at short notice
• Good communication skills,both written and verbal
• Confident dealing withdrivers, visitors, and contractors
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• This role involves outdoor work – full uniform and wet weather PPE will be provided
• Shifts will vary depending on site needs
