Overview

Transport Officer role within Travel Assistance Service to arrange and monitor transport for children and adults across Doncaster borough. Day‑to‑day provision of service, customer focused, work calmly under pressure.

• Salary: Grade 5 - £25,584 (Pay award pending)
• Contract Type: Temporary until 30/03/2027, Part time
• Hours: 22.2 hours, three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday)
• Closing date: 7th June 2026

Assist with day‑to‑day provision of the Travel Assistance Service, arrange and monitor transport for children and adults, deliver transport service, communicate with customers, work calmly under pressure.

Good communication skills, customer focused, ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure. Experience with transport arrangements desirable but not mandatory. Availability for the temporary contract.
