Housing Officer Temporary West Yorkshire £20 - £25 per hour About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and customer - focused Housing Officer for a temporary contract with our client in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing a diverse housing portfolio and delivering high - quality services to our residents.

As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for managing tenancies, supporting residents, addressing housing - related issues, and ensuring our communities remain safe, sustainable, and well - maintained. You will work closely with residents, contractors, partner agencies, and internal teams to provide excellent housing management services.

Key Responsibilities Manage a designated patch of properties and act as the main point of contact for residents. Conduct tenancy sign - ups, tenancy reviews, and property inspections. Investigate and resolve anti - social behaviour, neighbour disputes, and tenancy breaches. Support residents to sustain their tenancies and access relevant support services. Manage rent arrears and work with residents to maximise income and prevent tenancy failure.

Respond effectively to complaints, enquiries, and service requests. Work collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies to deliver positive outcomes for residents. Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate records and case management systems. About You The successful candidate will have:
Experience in housing management, tenancy management, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem - solving and conflict resolution abilities. Knowledge of housing legislation and best practice. The ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise competing demands. A customer - focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing management systems.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
