The roleTeam EPIC is Doncaster’s innovative Youth Crime Prevention Service. We work with young people who may be at risk of offending, exploitation, anti-social behaviour, disengagement from education, or other challenges that impact their future opportunities. We help young people make positive choices and achieve better outcomes through positive relationships, early intervention and targeted support. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate and resilient Youth Support Worker to join our team.
You will have a varied role where no two days are the same and your work can have a lasting impact on young people’s lives.
A typical week could include delivering prevention sessions in schools, supporting a young person on a one-to-one basis, facilitating positive activities within local communities, working with families and partner agencies, attending multi-agency meetings, helping to develop new opportunities that support young people to thrive and being part of our flagship Youth Hub within Doncaster City Centre.
Responsibilities- Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.
- Delivering early intervention and prevention programmes in schools, communities and youth settings.
- Supporting young people through one-to-one interventions and group work activities.
- Contributing to initiatives that reduce youth crime, anti-social behaviour and exploitation.
- Encouraging young people to develop life skills, confidence, resilience and positive aspirations.
- Working collaboratively with schools, community organisations and partner agencies.
- Recording interventions, producing reports and maintaining accurate case records.
- Supporting the development and delivery of innovative activities that engage young people and improve outcomes.

You will be able to demonstrate:
