- Infrastructure.
City of Doncaster Council is committed to tackling the climate crisis, with a target to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2040. This ambition is supported by a range of initiatives to reduce emissions and drive sustainable improvements across the city.
The Sustainability Project Officer will contribute to Doncaster’s Net Zero Carbon target by developing and delivering electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the city, providing project coordination and technical support across a number of projects within Environmental Sustainability’s Built Environment Team.

In addition, the role will support the management of the Council’s corporate utility contracts, including supplier relationship management, invoicing, query resolution, and pricing oversight, as well as using the Council’s energy management system to generate insights and reports to inform business cases and funding applications.
To succeed in this role, you must be well‑organised, hardworking and flexible with experience of providing project support in a service with high demands. We are looking for a conscientious team member with an interest in the environment and a strong drive to deliver change, that can communicate confidently with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
