Duties include:

• To lead on the implementation of the Early Help Strategy and embed across the partnership.
• To provide information, advice and guidanceregardingstrategies, policies and procedures, early help,safeguardingand thresholds.
• To ensure that practitioners and their managers are provided with a high standard of guidance in relation to the identification and management of risk, including when a referral to statutory social care is appropriate.
• Ensure all professionals actively engage children, youngpeopleand families in the early help process, and create an environment in which they are listened to, consulted and valuedtoeffectively influence change and the child’s journey is transparent.
• Will undertake the Lead Practitioner role.
• To quality assure the work undertaken by the partnership to ensure children, young people and family’s needs are met and understood.
• To plan and deliver high quality, multi-agency training to support the functions of Doncaster Safeguarding Children’s board.
• To work collaboratively with partner organisations to promote early help and monitor performance through data analysis, liaising with managers and practitioners to provide targeted support and challenge to ensure compliance with the Early Help Strategy.
• To ensure equality is promoted and diversity is celebrated, and illegal or unlawful discrimination is challenged to ensure the service fulfils its statutory duties.
