City of Doncaster Children’s Services are looking for qualified and experienced social workers to join our Inspiring Futures Team as a Social Worker for separated children. What are we asking from you?

A BA or MA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent recognised qualification
Registered with Social Work England
Experience of working with children and families, preferably as a qualified social worker
An ability to build strong relationships with children, their families, colleagues, and partner agencies
To be able to support families to make positive changes and enable children to meet their potential
An ability to analyse information effectively and to write high-quality assessments
A focus on supporting families to help them resolve their challenges
The commitment to provide children in care with the support they need to thrive
To focus on your own continuing professional development
Motivation and resilience
Knowledge of separated children and the asylum process.
