HGV Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm

Shift Pattern:
Full time Monday to Friday

Salary: £16.50ph – time and half before 8:30am. (If you are open to overtime and working weekends, this is time and half)

Driver Hire is currently looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our client on a Temp to Perm basis located in Doncaster. Our client is a well-established and trusted UK business specialising in the supply, distribution, and delivery of construction, utilities, and infrastructure materials across the country.

• Delivering goods safely and efficiently across designated routes
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Being comfortable with manual handling aspects of the role
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with company and legal requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card
• Minimum of 6 months experience
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Flexibility to complete the occasional night out (Tramping – approximately once every 3 weeks)
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations

• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Weekend work paid at time and a half (if you want to work a weekend)
• Temp to Perm position
