7.5T Driver / Installation Operative (Temp to Perm)

Venatu Recruitment is recruiting a reliable and hardworking 7.5T Driver / Installation Operative for a client. This temp-to-perm role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

• Drive 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles to customer sites across the UK.
• Deliver equipment, including commercial catering equipment, oversized units, and items with specialist delivery requirements.
• Position and unpack goods.
• Assist with installations.
• Provide excellent customer service as part of a two‑person delivery team.
• Work flexible hours; be prepared for early departures, extended working days, or late returns due to travel and project requirements.

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good level of physical fitness and manual handling ability.
• Professional and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to accommodate early starts, longer working days, and occasional late evening returns when required.
• CSCS Card (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience in commercial deliveries, removals, installation work, or two‑person delivery operations.
• Counterbalance FLT experience (in‑date licence advantageous but not essential).

• Temp‑to‑perm opportunity.

• £13.15 per hour with guaranteed 40 hours per week (£27,352 per annum).
• Overtime paid at standard rate for all hours worked above 40 per week.
• Additional overnight allowance and sustenance payments.
• 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, plus additional paid time off at Christmas.
