Class 2 Driver (Drainage) Job Responsibilities

• Newly qualified Class 2 drivers welcome
• Operate Class 2 (Category
  
  C) vehicles safely and efficiently to transport drainage equipment and materials to various sites across Doncaster and surrounding areas.
• Conduct pre‑journey vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with legal requirements.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems as required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE and safe driving practices.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate job tasks and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of work assignments.

• Valid Category C (Class
  2) driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating drainage or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
• Relevant CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to transportation and drainage work.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues effectively.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual tasks associated with drainage work.
• Knowledge of local roads and navigation skills.
