Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Times and Days of Work: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 9:00pm*

The Best Connection is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Van Driver to join a well-established logistics and distribution business in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dependable individual looking to secure long-term employment with the potential of a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing regular delivery runs to Scotland, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who is trustworthy, honest, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

• Driving a company van on scheduled delivery routes
• Completing regular daily delivery runs to Scotland
• Loading and unloading goods safely
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Completing vehicle inspection paperwork accurately
• Acting as a key holder and opening/locking premises when required
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and records
• Adhering to all road traffic regulations and company procedures
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Minimum 1 year's previous van driving experience
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25kg
• Trustworthy and honest approach to work
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Flexible approach to working hours, as finish times may vary
• Strong awareness of vehicle safety and daily vehicle checks
