Warehouse Shift Coordinator

Overview

IKEA Doncaster is seeking a Warehouse Shift Coordinator to join our booking office team. In IKEA we call this role a Fulfilment & Replenishment Operations Coordinator
. The position offers a fast‑paced environment where you’ll coordinate shipments, work with external partners, and maintain safety and efficiency around heavy machinery.

• Start date:
  
  5th January 2026
• Salary: £28,473 per annum (based on competence and experience)
• Contract options:
  • 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week (06:00‑22:00) with two weekends per month
  • 37.5 hours per week, 4 days per week, Friday‑Monday (06:00‑22:00)

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Capacity to manage tasks confidently in a demanding setting
• Strong prioritisation and organisation skills
• Experience using technical equipment to enhance productivity
• Compliance with health & safety guidelines – applicants must be 18+ years old

• Operate within the assigned booking office area: booking shipments in and out, coordinating with external transport companies, receiving goods accurately, and maintaining accurate records
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed to create a secure environment for external partners and co‑workers
• Use IT equipment to support daily routines and operations
• Conduct vehicle and yard checks outside the site as required
