We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to oversee and optimise warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless communication across supply chain functions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in warehouse management systems, logistics, and data analysis to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehousing processes.

The role is paid and suitable for candidates with relevant experience or qualifications in supply chain management.

Responsibilities

* Manage category inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to meet operational demands.

* Utilise transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments, optimise routes, and monitor stock movements.

* Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods.

* Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, safety, and accuracy.

* Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline external warehousing and distribution services.

* Utilise ERP systems such as AS400 for order processing, inventory control, and reporting purposes.

* Conduct data analysis to identify trends, optimise stock levels, and improve overall supply chain performance.

* Supervise materials handling operations, including forklift utilisation where applicable, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.

* Assist with picking & packing activities during peak periods or as required by operational needs.

* Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions and support audit processes.

Experience

* Proven experience in warehouse administration or logistics management is essential.

* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400, and transportation management systems (TMS).

* Knowledge of supply chain principles, materials handling procedures, and shipping & receiving operations.

* Experience working with 3PL providers and managing logistics workflows.

* Strong data analysis skills to interpret operational data and support continuous improvement initiatives.

* Prior hands-on warehouse experience including picking & packing tasks is highly desirable.

* Certification or experience operating forklifts is an advantage but not mandatory.
