Gi Group is recruiting a General Operative to join a brand-new warehouse in Doncaster for an exciting employer new to the area. General Operative

- Key Responsibilities

As a General Operative, you will be working in a warehouse environment moving and handling large cables. The General Operative role will include:

Moving, lifting and positioning large cables safely and efficiently.
Supporting general warehouse duties such as picking, staging, wrapping and stock movement.
Using an FLT Counterbalance when required (licence preferred).
Loading/unloading goods and moving stock to designated locations.
Following health & safety procedures and safe manual handling at all times.
Keeping your area clean, tidy, and compliant with site standards.
Working as part of the wider team to meet daily operational targets.

General Operative - Requirements

To succeed as a General Operative, you should have:

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role (heavy/bulky items beneficial).
Confidence with manual handling and physical work throughout the shift.
FLT Counterbalance licence preferred (but not essential).
Reliability and punctuality to work the rotating shifts consistently.
A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
