Coordinate and supervise the company's general accounting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, accuracy in financial records, tax records and operational efficiency through the strategic use of SAP.

Functions:

• Coordinate and supervise general accounting processes, ensuring compliance with current accounting standards.
• Ensure the accurate recording of daily transactions, reconciliations, and monthly and annual closings in SAP and Accounting systems.
• Review and validate accounting entries to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Lead and supervise the accounting and administration team, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide technical guidance to the team in resolving complex problems related to accounting and the use of SAP.
• Promote ongoing training in accounting standards and SAP usage.
• Coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of financial reports.
• Prepare strategic financial reports for the Head of Accounting and Administration, such as balance sheets, income statements,and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial variations and trends, providing key information for decision-making.
• Prepare the necessary documentation for internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Monitor changes in accounting and tax regulations, implementing them in company processes as appropriate.
• Act as a liaison between the accounting department and other areas of the company, such as purchasing, sales, and logistics, to ensure the proper integration of processes.
• Collaborate with the management control department in budget preparation and cost analysis.
• Document accounting procedures and policies to standardize and ensure the consistency of operations.
• Support the Integrated Quality Management System for your area, collaborating with the Quality Department or any other área on all aspects related to internal or external audits that the Surexport Group undertakes and/or establishes as standards or requirements.
