Job Title: Bilingual Accounts Payable & Billing Supervisor

Location: Miami, FL 33182

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Contract Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable & Billing Supervisor for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a company in the life sciences sector. This individual will oversee the accounts payable and billing functions, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and client billings. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented leader with a strong grasp of financial operations and excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide guidance to the accounts payable and billing team, monitoring performance and assigning tasks.
• Oversee the billing cycle to ensure timely and accurate invoice generation, while resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Manage the accounts payable process including vendor communications, invoice approvals, and timely payments.
• Handle account reconciliations, ensure accurate records, and support month-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, operations, and customer service to resolve financial inquiries.
• Act as a point of contact for both vendor and client billing inquiries, ensuring professional and prompt resolution.
• Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding receivables, and implement collection strategies.
• Support audit and compliance procedures by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial documentation.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent; minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience supervising AP or billing teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
• Able to sit for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds if necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of an Accounts Payable & Billing Associate.
