Summary
:

Verigent's client is seeking a highly skilled Splunk Architect/Administrator to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of large-scale Splunk environments in both on-premises and cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-site clustering, performance tuning, high availability, and enterprise-scale Splunk deployments.

Responsibilities
:

• Fully design and architect large-scale Splunk Enterprise environments.
• Implement and optimize multi-site clustering architectures and deployments.
• Design solutions aligned with Splunk Validated Architectures.
• Architect Splunk for performance, leveraging smart store and traditional frameworks.
• Plan and implement HA for Cluster Managers, Indexer Clusters, and Deployment Servers.
• Architect search head clustering solutions and ensure optimal search affinity.
• Manage ingest vs SVC vs forecasting (predictive) licensing and cloud models.
• Maximize data and traffic flows for both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Create custom parsers and maintain Splunk knowledge objects.
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize hybrid and Splunk Cloud SaaS solutions.
• Conduct capacity planning for large Splunk environments.
• Monitor and improve performance across search, indexer, and forwarding tiers.
• Implement best practices for security, observability, and scalability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Lead large enterprise deployments with ownership and accountability.
• Document architectures, configurations, and processes for operational handoffs.

Qualifications
:

• 8+ years of experience deploying, managing, and architecting large enterprise Splunk environments (30TB+).
• Proven track record in planning, documenting, and executing large Splunk deployments.
• Strong understanding of SF/RF configurations (single and multi-site).
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
