Registered Nurse; RN

Overview

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) candidates that truly love what they do and that care for our residents. We are looking for candidates that are friendly, fun, compassionate and most of all good listeners and team players.

SHIFT: Full Time Days and Nights and Per Diem Days and Nights

PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY PREFERRED

WAGE: $33-$36 Commensurate with experience

Additional compensation includes:

• 1.5X Holiday Pay
• 1.5X Overtime Pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week

• Provides plan care for all resident attending to.
• Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit.
• Must document changes and follow up on condition.
• Organizes, cleans, and maintains the patient/resident units.
• Ensures that resident’s/patient’s rights are adhered to.
• Participates in departmental activities and follows established guidelines.
• Performs related duties as required.

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• CPR/ACLS Certification.
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with geriatric patients, residents, family members, employees, and other facility guests.
• Ability to document information concisely and accurately.
• Minimum of Six months to 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse working in a nursing home and/or hospital environment preferred
• Ability to think and act calmly to handle the unusual occurrences of the job.
• Must pass a Level II Background Screening.
• Must pass drug test.
