We are hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic with strong hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience to join our team in Doral, FL.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanic who has hands-on experience working with heavy construction equipment, diesel equipment, hydraulic systems, cranes, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and similar machinery.

The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter who can diagnose mechanical and hydraulic problems independently and perform repairs both in the shop and at customer jobsites.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required for this position.

What You'll Be Working On

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment
• Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrohydraulic problems
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses, and fittings
• Perform repairs on excavators, cranes, loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and similar machinery
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service information
• Perform hydraulic pressure and flow testing
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
• Complete fluid and filter changes, hose replacement, hydraulic system repairs, and system flushing
• Diagnose mechanical and equipment performance problems
• Perform field-service repairs at customer locations and jobsites when needed
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Field Service Mechanic, or Hydraulic Mechanic experience
• Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Hands-on experience repairing heavy equipment or construction equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses, and fittings
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical diagrams
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license required
• Comfortable performing field-service repairs when necessary

Experience working with equipment or manufacturers such as:

• Caterpillar / CAT
• John Deere
• Komatsu
• CASE
• Volvo
• JCB
• Bobcat
• Kubota
• Manitowoc
• Grove
• Terex
• Genie
• JLG

Experience with diesel engines, construction equipment, hydraulic systems, mobile equipment, or crane repair is highly desirable.

ASE, Caterpillar, Parker, Eaton, diesel, hydraulic, or heavy-equipment certifications are preferred but not required.

Compensation

$40.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualified candidates with strong heavy-equipment and hydraulic experience are encouraged to apply.
