Job PurposeThis position is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading people, materials, equipment and processes to achieve established safety, quality, delivery, and profit goals while maintaining positive employee relations. The supervisor will apply lean manufacturing tools and techniques to continuously improve safety, cost, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and implementing CNH safety programs, policies, and regulations.
- Identify and resolve abnormalities in people, materials, machine, and methods, including product quality and logistics.
- Supervise and direct hourly employees in the production of parts, components, and finished products to meet efficiency targets and develop corrective action plans when targets are missed.
- Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality goals.
- Administer operating budgets and monitor results to assure departmental objectives are achieved.
- Maintain required inventory levels and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Lead continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations in line with company policy.
- Support HR activities such as employee selection, pay administration, counseling, training, performance reviews, and discipline for hourly employees.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance to meet work schedules.
- Administer and facilitate time standards with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain fair standards.
- Implement company strategies and process changes at the operational level.
- Lead Kaizens and continuous improvement projects.
- Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree plus three (3) years of supervising/manufacturing experience.
- High school diploma and five (5) years of supervising/manufacturing experience.
The annual salary for this role is USD $63,000.00 – $84,000.00 plus applicable bonuses. Actual salaries vary based on skill, experience, and qualification.
