Role Overview

The Roadside Technician is an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets. When a customer has a tire-related failure, the technician is dispatched to the location to repair or change the tire. When no service calls are pending, technicians help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed.

Shift Information

The position requires participation in a mandatory on-call rotation. During assigned on-call periods, technicians respond to after-hours service requests (evenings and weekends) with a high acceptance rate. All after-hours calls are compensated at a premium rate with guaranteed minimums.

Basic Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous commercial service tire experience.
What You’ll Learn
  • Servicing commercial tires, including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
  • Performing match mounting, double assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
  • Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
  • Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements: using proper PPE, tire cages, and following all safety policies.
