Planned Maintenance Surveyor

Dorset

Salary:
Up to £44,127 per annu

We are seeking an experienced Planned Maintenance Surveyor to join a well-established housing organisation operating across Dorset. This is a key role responsible for delivering planned maintenance programmes, with a particular focus on roofing works and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing planned maintenance programmes across a residential housing portfolio

* Producing scopes of work, schedules, and technical specifications

* Contract administration, cost control, and performance monitoring

* Carrying out site inspections and surveys to assess condition and lifecycle needs

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and organisational standards

* Liaising with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders

* Managing customer expectations and resolving technical issues professionally

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* HNC (or equivalent) in a construction, building surveying, or related discipline

* Minimum 6 years’ experience in planned maintenance within housing or a similar environment

* Proven experience managing planned maintenance programmes, with strong emphasis on roofing contract management

* Sound knowledge of building construction, roofing systems, and maintenance best practice

* Experience administering contracts and managing contractor performance

* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

* Full UK driving licence (or ability to travel across Dorset)
