Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Site Manager

phere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major construction project within the healthcare sector in Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong healthcare construction background to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a significant project, working closely with the client, design team, subcontractors and wider project team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from planning and coordination through to completion, ensuring that works are delivered safely, on programme, to specification and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

* Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project.

* Manage subcontractors, consultants and site management teams.

* Coordinate construction activities and ensure the programme is maintained.

* Monitor project progress, quality, costs and resources.

* Liaise with the client, design team and project stakeholders.

* Manage project documentation, reporting and commercial interfaces.

* Review drawings, specifications, programmes and construction methodologies.

* Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs and specifications.

* Manage health and safety across the project.

* Coordinate inspections, quality assurance and snagging.

* Identify and resolve construction issues and programme risks.

* Lead regular project and progress meetings.

* Ensure effective communication between the site and wider project team.

* Drive the project through to completion and handover.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction.

* Previous healthcare construction experience – essential.

* Experience delivering complex construction projects.

* SMSTS – essential.

* CSCS – essential.

* First Aid – essential.

* Strong understanding of health and safety, quality and programme management.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.

* Ability to work to demanding programmes and manage multiple priorities.
