Project Engineer (Automation / FANUC) – Dorchester

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Career Progression + Training + Early Friday Finish + Flexible Working + Enhanced Holiday Allowance + Free Parking

This role involves leading the commercial, technical and operational aspects of project delivery for highly complex robot-based electromechanical systems used in factory and process automation. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team and will contribute to the company’s growth by delivering projects on time, on budget and to the required quality. The company has over 20 years of experience and serves Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Renewable Energy industries.

• Present technology to customers, suppliers and project partners with professionalism at all times.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Lead the project team to ensure tasks are completed effectively, efficiently, and within agreed time frames.
• Prepare, maintain, and present project materials in accordance with the project management process.

• Project Management Experience.
• Automation / Robotics Experience with knowledge of pneumatic actuation and controls, motor & drive selection, and electrical/electronic control components.
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
