Interim Finance Consultant

Are you a senior finance professional who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and commercial insight to a developing organisation? This initial interim opportunity will give you the scope to shape financial reporting within a small, strategically focused business and provide greater confidence to its key stakeholders. You will have the autonomy to establish the financial visibility needed to support its longer-term direction.

• Building a robust financial model to provide a clear view of performance, income and expenditure
• Reviewing financial information held across separate systems
• Developing dashboards that give management and stakeholders meaningful financial visibility
• Identifying historic issues, information gaps and areas requiring further investigation
• Assessing current accounting arrangements and identifying potential efficiencies or savings
• Supporting the business with commercial insight and informed decision-making
• Helping management define the organisation's longer-term finance requirements and route towards profitability

• Previous experience of financial modelling, dashboard creation, systems analysis or improving management information would be beneficial
• Able to interpret information from different sources and turn it into clear, practical financial insight for non-finance stakeholders
• A hands-on and commercially minded approach, with the confidence to investigate issues and establish structure within a developing environment

• Hybrid/remote flexibility
• An initial interim assignment with considerable scope to shape the organisation's financial reporting and future finance structure
• Potential for the opportunity to develop into a permanent position as the organisation's requirements become clearer
• Salary will be dependent on experience
