Clinical Support Worker – Neurophysiology and Radiology Assistant

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our friendly Neurophysiology and Diagnostic Imaging team.

This is a varied, patient-focused role supporting staff across Neurophysiology, Ultrasound and Mammography
. You will help patients throughout their journey, providing clinical assistance, chaperoning, basic observations, patient escorts and support during examinations and procedures, alongside reception and administrative duties.

Working as part of a busy multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure patients receive a safe, efficient and positive experience

To provide comprehensive clinical and technical support to the consultant Neurophysiologist Radiologists, physiologist sonographers, radiographers and the patients attending Diagnostic Appointment. The job role will involve a shift pattern of working over seven days per week. The post will involve working between Neurophysiology and Diagnostic imaging

Duties will include acting as a chaperone and clinical assistant, preparing patients and clinical areas for examinations and procedures, undertaking basic patient observations, assisting with patient movement and escorts, and supporting invasive procedures within your level of training and competence.
