A well-established educational setting in Dorchester Dorset is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee its buildings grounds and facilities services.

The successful candidate will coordinate planned maintenance reactive repairs and external contractors while ensuring that facilities remain safe functional and well presented.

This is a varied position requiring strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing facilities operations

• Managing planned maintenance

• Coordinating reactive repairs

• Managing contractors and suppliers

• Conducting site inspections

• Monitoring building condition

• Supporting health and safety procedures

• Maintaining facilities records

• Following up outstanding maintenance

• Supporting school events and activities

Candidates with facilities estates property or premises management experience are encouraged to apply.

Education experience would be advantageous although relevant commercial facilities experience will also be considered.
