Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:15pm
No previous electronics experience required – full training provided!

Purbeck Electronics Ltd is a Dorset-based electronics manufacturing company, and we're looking for two SMT Machine Operators to join our friendly production team.
Ideally, we'd love to hear from someone local with experience in electronics manufacturing, particularly SMT machine operation or Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). However, experience isn't essential.
We're equally interested in people who have the right attitude, enjoy practical work and are willing to learn.
Location: Purbeck Electronics Ltd, Wareham, Dorset (BH20 4DY
)
- Setting up and preparing SMT production lines.
- Loading components and setting up feeders.
- Running and monitoring SMT production programmes.
- Carrying out machine changeovers and strip-downs.
- Checking production quality and identifying potential issues.
- Following production instructions and maintaining accurate records.
- Working alongside our production team to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Reliability and good timekeeping – someone we can depend on.
- A strong work ethic – someone willing to put the effort in.
- Willingness to learn – you don't need to know everything, but you need to want to develop.
- Attention to detail – taking pride in producing quality work.
- A positive, team-focused attitude – someone happy to get involved and help others.
Previous SMT, electronics manufacturing, AOI or machine operating experience would be a fantastic bonus, but we're more than happy to train the right individuals.
