Overview

We are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and energetic Support Worker to join our team, delivering person‑centred, strengths‑based support to residents. This role is an opportunity to be a catalyst for change in people's lives, helping them achieve greater independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain supportive relationships with a caseload of residents, guiding them through referrals, interviews, and assessments.
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents, welcoming them, establishing trust, and delivering tailored support through one‑to‑one and group sessions.
  • Plan, implement and monitor individual support plans focused on outcomes, empowerment, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with specialist agencies, such as mental health teams and youth services, to provide holistic care.
  • Ensure all interactions uphold professional boundaries, safeguarding standards, and integrity.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience working with vulnerable people, ideally with knowledge of homelessness and its effects.
  • Solid understanding of housing and benefits advice.
  • Confidence in working collaboratively with specialist agencies.
  • Natural ability to build trust, motivate, and foster meaningful relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to different people and situations.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a clear understanding of boundaries and safeguarding.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
