Within Volker Wessels Materieel & Onderhoud we focus on maintaining equipment across multiple subsidiaries within Volker Wessels. Currently most of this infrastructure is only partially electrically driven, but this will rapidly increase in the coming years as part of our sustainable mission. Our machine park is highly diverse, from small mechanical tools to large cranes and asphalt machines. The exciting part of this role within VWMO is that topics such as sustainability and safety frequently come up, making your role challenging and ensuring you continuously work with us towards the future.

In this position you have a broad set of tasks from maintenance to inspection, everything comes through.

It may happen that one day you are busy maintaining and checking various equipment. Thanks to your knowledge all parts operate optimally and reliably. When faults occur, you are the one who quickly identifies and repairs the cause, allowing our equipment to be redeployed quickly.

Another important part of your work is executing inspections and inspections. With your eye for detail you ensure everything meets the highest quality standards.

You work closely with a team of 15 enthusiastic and expert colleagues. Together with them you are also actively involved in improvements in terms of sustainability and/or safety of our equipment. Additionally:

• Preferably you have completed an MBO education in a (motor vehicle) technique or you are about to finish it;
• You possess a valid VCA diploma or you are willing to obtain it via us;
• You have stage and/or work experience in a similar function;
• You speak Dutch.

• A position for 32 to 40 hours per week in an enthusiastic team. You work from our workshop in Dordrecht;
• A full‑time salary up to €3.900 per 4 weeks (converted to €4.225 per month);

• Travel costs €0.25 cents per kilometer home‑work travel;
• 48 vacation days on a full‑time basis according to the CAO Bouw en Infra;

VWMO is one of the material companies of Volker Wessels and part of KWS Infra. We specialize in investing, maintaining and managing a large material package. This concerns machines for road construction, civil engineering and railway construction. We maintain and manage this in our well‑equipped workshops in Dordrecht and Buren, but also on project locations. To meet the sustainability goal of the Volker Wessels organization we are working on technical sub‑projects regarding lower harmful emissions (e.g. nitrogen reduction) and applying emission‑free applications (e.g. electrification).
