Within Power Systems a relatively new Business Unit called Sustainable focuses on supply of large scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Our business revolves around supplying utilities, developers and operators the latest battery systems developed by the Rolls‑Royce organization for the Benelux market. We offer this as a complete package to customers, from initial concept, to detailed engineering, supply of all components, installation and long‑term service agreements.
Position
Full‑time | 40 hours
As a Sales Engineer you support the Business Development Manager Sustainable Solutions by analyzing customer requests, making cost calculations for projects, preparing quotations, order confirmations and providing sales support during the project phase. You coordinate the technical support of BESS projects contracted by sales. You are an integral part of the Sales team and report directly to the Head of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Support the sales team by analyzing customer requests and by preparing quotations and calculations.
Liaise with suppliers and sub‑contractors to establish clear scope demarcations, request pricing and technical details.
Review technical documents from suppliers and contractors and provide technical advice during the pre‑sales process.
Act as contact person for internal and external customers during the complete phase of the project.
Prepare the technical specification documents of the application and related systems.
Qualifications
Technical Bachelor’s degree (HBO) and preferably 3 years of experience in a project environment.
Experience with renewable energy projects (battery systems, solar or wind) – preferred.
Experience with ERP systems – preferred.
Experience with cost calculations for projects.
Proficient in Dutch and English.
