About the company
For a fast-growing engineering company active in electric mobility and advanced vehicle technology, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with affinity for automotive technology, high-voltage systems, and battery applications.
The organization develops and builds innovative electrical and electro-mechanical solutions for automotive, off-highway, and industrial vehicle applications. Projects focus on EV systems, electrical drive trains, battery integration, charging technology, and advanced vehicle electronics.
The environment is highly technical, practical, and engineering-driven, where prototype development, testing, and real-world validation play a central role.
What will you do?
As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on the development and implementation of electrical and high-voltage systems within automotive technology projects.
You will be involved throughout the complete engineering process, from concept development and electrical design to testing, commissioning, and validation.
Your responsibilities include:
Designing and developing electrical schematics and vehicle electrical systems
Supporting high-voltage and battery system integration
Performing electrical calculations, cable sizing, and component selection
Working with automotive electrical systems, charging solutions, and HV safety concepts
Assisting in prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
Supporting validation and commissioning activities in workshop and test environments
Collaborating closely with mechanical engineers, technicians, and project teams
Supporting continuous improvement of electrical systems and engineering processes
This position combines engineering, prototyping, and hands-on technical work within advanced automotive technology projects.
Who are you?
You are a practical and motivated Electrical Engineer with strong technical interest in automotive technology, electrification, and vehicle systems.
You enjoy working both behind the computer and in the workshop/testing environment.
You bring:
HBO or MBO Level 4 degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar
Affinity with high-voltage environments, EV technology, or battery systems
Ability to read and create electrical drawings and technical documentation
Hands-on mentality with interest in testing and troubleshooting
Experience with in automotive, industrial vehicles, or mobile equipment is a strong advantage
Driver’s license B
Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
