Position: (Sr / Lead ) Process Safety Engineer
Process Safety Engineer (Sr/Lead) – Dordrecht

Location:

Dordrecht (EHHS team)
Responsibilities   Participate in or lead risk studies, perform consequence analyses, and review engineering designs for compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Lead HAZOP and PHA sessions; conduct JSA, LOPA, SIMOP, incident investigations, compliance assessments, and insurance investigations.
Coordinate the Process Safety Department and oversee the entire process safety lifecycle.
Advise and consult with department personnel to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with environmental and safety regulations, standards, and practices.
Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
Maintain contact with sites in the United States and China/Japan to exchange knowledge, experience, and conduct audits.
Qualifications   Preferred:
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of Asset Integrity and Process Safety Management Systems, relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Understanding of technical safety principles, hazard identification instruments, risk assessment tools, and their application.

Experience with risk management and investigative methodologies for process safety incidents.
Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
