Chemours is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Fluoro Elastomers Manufacturing Technology team. This position is based at our Dordrecht Site and will report directly to the Manufacturing Technology Area Manager.
Job Summary As a Process Engineer in our Fluoro Elastomers unit, you are the technical heartbeat of daily operations. You ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production while delivering improvements in quality, uptime, and cost. You split your time between the plant, control room, and data analysis - working closely with operators, maintenance, engineering, and site leadership.

Improved process capability, reliability, and product consistency.
Clear and well‑documented technical recommendations for improvements.
Responsibilities Monitor process performance, troubleshoot abnormalities, and lead root‑cause analysis.
Lead or support Process Safety Management activities including PHA, MOC, PSSR, and Mechanical Integrity.
Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, capacity, and cost.
Provide process input to capital projects from front‑end engineering through commissioning.
Design and run plant trials, improve operating procedures, and update technical documentation.
Support emissions reduction, energy efficiency, and environmental performance initiatives.
Required Qualifications BSc/MSc in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
5–10 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing technology, or reliability.
At least 5 yrs experience working in a manufacturing plant as a process engineer or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex process problems.
Fluent in English;
Dutch is a plus (willingness to learn is sufficient).Hands‑on mindset and ability to work effectively with operators, maintenance, and engineers.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in elastomers, monomers, reliability, or data analytics.
Experience running plant trials and supporting capital projects.
Working knowledge of DCS batch logic systems
Experience with polymerization technologies
Familiarity with continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder‑alignment skills.
