At Chemours in Dordrecht, we're looking for a  Reliability Engineer  who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and improving the performance of critical production assets. You'll join one of the most advanced chemical manufacturing sites in the Netherlands, where reliability, process safety and continuous improvement are essential to everything we do.

This role is ideal for someone currently working as a Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Asset Integrity Engineer or Reliability Specialist within chemicals, petrochemicals, energy, manufacturing or another asset-intensive environment.

What makes this role as Reliability Engineer interesting?

As a Reliability Engineer, you will have a direct impact on the reliability, availability and long-term performance of our production assets.

Analysing equipment performance and identifying failure mechanisms
Developing strategies to improve reliability and reduce downtime
Supporting Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs
Participating in RCFA investigations, PHA reviews and PSM activities
Advising capital projects on equipment selection and lifecycle performance
Supporting asset sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives

This is a role where engineering expertise, data analysis and practical field knowledge come together.

What we're looking for

You enjoy understanding why equipment fails and how it can be prevented. You combine analytical thinking with a practical approach and can translate complex technical findings into clear recommendations.

You bring:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

Experience with in reliability, maintenance or asset management
Knowledge of Reliability Engineering principles and methodologies

Experience with Weibull analysis, MTBF, RCM and lifecycle cost analysis
Familiarity with RCFA, TPM and continuous improvement techniques
Strong safety mindset
Fluent Dutch and English communication skills
