Role description We are looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer with a strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) background to drive equipment reliability and asset performance across industrial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying reliability improvement opportunities, analyzing equipment failures, optimizing maintenance strategies, and implementing solutions that improve plant availability and reduce downtime. You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Asset Management teams to ensure long term reliability and operational excellence.
Responsibilities Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve asset performance and reduce equipment failures
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring and critical equipment failures
Lead reliability improvement initiatives focused on defect elimination and asset optimization
Analyze maintenance and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Develop and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs
Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and recommend mitigation measures
Support maintenance teams with reliability engineering expertise and technical recommendations
Improve equipment life cycle performance through data driven decision making
Monitor asset health, reliability metrics, and equipment performance indicators
Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to improve plant availability and reduce downtime
Develop reliability standards, best practices, and engineering guidelines
Support risk assessments and reliability centered maintenance activities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase asset reliability and operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Act as the technical subject matter expert for reliability related activities
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline
Strong Electrical & Instrumentation background
Proven experience in Reliability Engineering, Asset Management, Maintenance Engineering, or Technical Operations
Experience with in a chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, energy, or other industrial environment
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, systems, and maintenance processes
Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, and reliability improvement methodologies
Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
Experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs
Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance data analysis
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
Experience analyzing equipment performance and reliability KPIs
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of industrial safety and compliance standards
