Duties:

Conduct accurate MOT inspections on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Diagnose mechanical issues during vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs
Ensure all MOT testing procedures comply with current legal and safety standards
Complete precise documentation and reports for vehicles tested
Uphold high standards of vehicle safety, compliance, and quality assurance
Assist with additional workshop duties as required to support team operations

Requirements:

Proven previous experience as an MOT Tester is essential
Full valid MOT Tester licence is mandatory
Strong knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures, safety standards, and legal requirements
Excellent attention to detail and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Preference given to local candidates due to proximity to the workshop
